Missio Dei Church Family:

Sunday is coming!

We have been excitedly preparing for our time together both in person and as we continue to stream live on Facebook and YouTube.

We have been cleaning, sanitizing, and praying for our time together. We have ordered masks, hand sanitizers, gloves, and cleaners.

Starting this week, Sunday, June 21, we will be providing “in person” worship at 9am and 11am. The 11am worship service will stream live on Facebook and YouTube as usual.  Our desire is to continue to meet the needs of our church family whether in person or through our continued online presence.

What to expect at both our 9am and 11am “in person” worship services:

  • As you enter the building there will be a friendly greeter welcoming you home, squirting your hands with hand sanitizer, and offering a facemask if you forgot yours at home.

  • For the safety of our whole church family masks are required. (Unless “when doing so poses a greater mental or physical health, safety, or security risk.” As per city ordinance issued June 18, 2020)

  • Remember to drink your coffee at home. We will not be serving coffee or fruit for health reasons.

  • We have set the chairs in the sanctuary for proper social distancing.

Please enjoy sitting with your family.  Your children will sit with you in the sanctuary.  We will not provide nursery or Sunday School until further notice.

  • Following worship, please enjoy a time of fellowship outside in the open air.

(This helps us prepare the building for the second service.)

As we strive to love God and love others, please look over the following check list before deciding to come to “in person” worship.

Have you, a family member, or someone you have come into contact with, have or had in the last 2 weeks:

Covid-19                        fever                         headache

cough                             chills                        sore throat

shortness of breath         muscle pain             exhaustion

vomiting                        diarrhea                    loss of taste or smell

Please Stay Home!

If you have (or live with someone who has) diabetes, hypertension, and other pre-existing conditions that make you more susceptible to, or conditions worsen with Covid-19, or if you work with anyone who has these conditions…

Please Stay Home!!!  Please!

We understand how excited everyone is to meet together in person again, but let’s be wise and love our neighbor well. Let’s take care of the Body of Christ. Let’s put other people’s needs above our own.

It is the Council and leadership team’s desire to use Godly wisdom and necessary precaution to lead all of us through these uncertain times. Our hope is in the Lord and our trust rests on His truth. We do not live in fear, but we do want to be cautious and wise. Please continue to pray for the Lord’s leading and protection.
